Escudilla Wilderness

Escudilla Wilderness protects 5,200 acres of Arizona’s third-highest peak and some of the Southwest’s most pristine high-elevation terrain. This is where the last grizzly in Arizona was killed in 1935—a reminder of what we’ve lost and why wilderness protection matters.
